Our pure bachata social. We aim to host a quality event worthy of a night out, with the warmth of going to a friend's gathering. Rise runs most months and it's where everything you learn in class comes to life socially. Whether you're a regular or brand new, you're welcome on the floor.

Boatchata
A day out on the high seas celebrating our birthday and the connections we've made. This one isn't just about bachata — it's about getting to know the people we dance so closely with, and enjoying the start of summer together.
It's been an annual party for Refinery Dance's birthday. Stay tuned to see if we'll have another one this year.
Bachata Resident Express
We bring a guest instructor to town to run speciality workshops and socials — fresh perspectives, new techniques, and a great excuse to get the community together and level up.
Our resident was Kristian, an internationally regarded Bachata instructor and TEDx speaker who specialises in helping dancers overcome their insecurities on the dancefloor.
